Experienced Sales Executive, Sandyford

We are seeking an Experienced Car Sales Executive to join our Sales Team in our new Volkswagen Dealership Sandyford. We have recently opened a brand new state of the art Dealership on Furze Road and are in the process of scaling the business to meet the needs of our customers. Reporting to the Head of Sales this is an exciting and challenging role at a time where Volkswagen is bringing many new and ground-breaking models to the Irish market. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for customer care and distinctly have a natural ability to sell. With a demonstrable track record of success in the motor industry you will avail of a commensurate financial package which will be above all. At Frank Keane Volkswagen we genuinely believe that sales people's time should be spent selling so an excellent support network is in place onsite to manage non-selling tasks such as handovers, F&I, used car valuations and administration. 


Key Objectives:

  • Be able to confidently demonstrate the Volkswagen Passenger Car products to prospective customers in a friendly, non-pressurised way. An ability to understand new automotive technology and explain these features to customers in simple & practical terms is our goal.
  • Use digital tools to receive and follow-up on enquiries and support our paperless deal processing.
  • Offer advice to customers based on their needs to assist them on their purchasing journey.
  • Ensure all customers receive a premium brand experience in line with Frank Keane values.
  • Practice the key steps of the Sales Process.

Main Duties:

  • Keeping up to date with the latest product information and filter this to our Sales Team.
  • Continued learning through internal and manufacturer training portal courses.
  • Utilise the Frank Keane Virtual sales platforms to engage with and follow-up our customers from initial enquiry stage to delivery of their new Volkswagen.
  • Meeting monthly sales targets, along with manufacturer objectives in relation to customer satisfaction and other KPIs
  • Selling appropriate ancillary products relevant to the vehicle and customer

Workshop Manager

Job Summary:

The Workshop Controller is responsible for overseeing the efficient workflow of the workshop, ensuring the timely and effective completion of all repairs and services. You will coordinate technicians, manage workload distribution, and maintain the highest standards of customer service in line with Frank Keane Volkswagen's brand values.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Management:

  • Allocate work to technicians based on skills and experience, ensuring an even distribution of tasks and timely completion.
  • Monitor technician productivity and efficiency, ensuring repair standards are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to the workshop team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.


Workshop Operations:

  • Ensure the workshop operates in accordance with Volkswagen's health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage the workflow, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate repairs, services, and diagnostics, ensuring that work is completed within agreed timeframes.


Customer Service:

  • Liaise with the Service Advisors to ensure customers are kept informed about the progress of their vehicle.
  • Assist with resolving technical and service-related customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure that quality control processes are followed for all vehicles serviced or repaired.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical support to technicians on complex repair issues.
  • Ensure that diagnostic equipment is used effectively and kept in good condition.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Volkswagen technical bulletins, service manuals, and industry trends.

Administration & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, diagnostics, and parts used.
  • Ensure all job cards and associated paperwork are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Report on workshop performance metrics such as technician efficiency, productivity, and job completion times.

Inventory & Parts Management:

  • Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of parts.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed for workshop supplies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, ideally within a Volkswagen dealership or a similar automotive environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs, diagnostics, warranty processes and maintenance, preferably with Volkswagen vehicles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, technicians, and service advisors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in workshop management systems and relevant diagnostic tools.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Technician
  • Volkswagen certification or knowledge of Volkswagen systems would be an advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid driving license.

Service Advisor, Sandyford

Due to increased demand from our customers Frank Keane Volkswagen are looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor for an immediate start in our Dealership in Sandyford. Reporting to the Service Manager, this important and demanding role is critical to the smooth running of our Aftersales Department as we strive for a 5-Star Service for our customers along their journey. 

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the servicing and maintenance needs of our customers. You will act as a liaison between our customers and the service department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, understand their service needs and provide recommendations based on the manufacturer's guidelines and the vehicle's condition.
  2. Service Recommendations: Communicate vehicle issues and service recommendations to customers, including required repairs, preventive maintenance, and suggested services.
  3. Service Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and manage loan vehicles, if necessary, to accommodate customer needs and dealership capacity.
  4. Service Estimates: Provide customers with accurate and transparent cost estimates for service and repairs, including parts, labour, and potential additional charges.
  5. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct vehicle inspections and document the condition of the customer's vehicle. Share findings with customers and prioritise necessary repairs and maintenance.
  6. Communication: Keep customers informed of the progress of their service or repair work, including any unexpected delays or additional repairs required.
  7. Parts Ordering: Order necessary parts and materials to ensure timely completion of service or repair jobs.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all service and repair work is performed to Volkswagen's quality and safety standards.
  9. Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and explain invoices to customers, collecting payments, and handling any warranty claims or issues.
  10. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  11. Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised service records, including customer information, vehicle details, service history, and repair orders.
  12. Sales Opportunities: Identify potential upsell opportunities for service packages, extended warranties, and accessories.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor role is desirable.
  • CDK / Keyloop (Kerridge) experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software and service management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
