Business Manager, Sandyford

We are currently recruiting for the role of Business Manager in Frank Keane Volkswagen Sandyford. We operate an extremely fast paced and dynamic business where customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Hence the candidate must be able to demonstrate a customer orientated focus and approach to the role while maximising all opportunities for the retail centre.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Business Manager experience working in a franchised dealership and must meet criteria as set out in the Central Bank of Ireland minimum competencies code (2011).
 

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

  • To ensure sales and profit targets are met by working closely with sales executives.
  • To report on F&I performance through the development and preparation of F&I KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • To develop and maintain the necessary skills to fulfil the business management role in a highly professional and effective manner.
  • To ensure that all finance administration procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To work enthusiastically and ensuring that customers and prospects are treated with courtesy and respect.
  • To share market intelligence and information about developments in the F&I sector with the Sales Department.
  • To keep up to date with regard to alternative finance providers and insurance products to ensure that Frank Keane Volkswagen's rates are both competitive and attractive to customers.
  • To ensure that sales staff are fully conversant with all finance and insurance products available, in order to help close sales or enhance opportunities.
  • To train, mentor and coach sales executives to fully understand the features and benefits of the finance products.
  • To look to renew, revisit and re-market to previous and existing customers, finance and insurance products when appropriate.
  • To work with sales staff to increase vehicle sales through active prospecting.
  • To control the deposit process and ensure all incoming monies from customers are accounted for prior to the release of all vehicles including management of all debt in a timely manner.
  • To ensure all finance related documents are correct and in full prior to the release of vehicles.
  • Ensure the compliance of Frank Keane Volkswagen with all regulatory requirements in respect of finance products.
  • Be comfortable with providing cover for our Group branches when required.

  • Analytical ability - Gather and record verbal and numerical data in a comprehensive and effective manner.
  • Needs to be computer literate, ideally have experience using Kerridge/Drive/Keyloop.

Contact Centre Advisor, Sandyford

ue to continued expansion we are looking for a professional and productive Contact Centre Advisor to work within our existing customer service team based in Sandyford. We are looking for an individual that has experience in optimising the customer experience through inbound and outbound calls within a busy contact centre environment.


We are looking for a self-starter, who is performance driven and customer focused. The successful candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills and an ability to balance high call volumes and customer service excellence.


The role will be based within the Contact Centre reporting to the Contact Centre Manager. As a key point of contact within the business for the customer this is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in a successful and expanding environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inbound and outbound call activity with our existing customers
  • To help deliver customer satisfaction scores in line with Volkswagen and Frank Keane Group standards. 
  • To identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through an evidence based approach to blockage identification.
  • Promote the sale of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding the vehicle and associated service requirements.


Requirements:

  • 1 year of telesales/customer service experience, ideally in a contact centre environment (not industry specific).

Future-proof  yourself in the motor trade as the role we are advertising is for ideally someone looking to progress their career through training and development in a fast paced modern dealership. We are actively looking to fast track our technicians through training and High Voltage training to provide our customers with a standard of work 2nd to none. 


The Role

The ideal candidates will be based in our  Liffey Valley dealership, experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing high quality work in a busy environment.  Responsibilities include

  • Performing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and Volkswagen standards.
  • Communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts, inform workshop manager if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary.
  • Diagnosing cause of any malfunction and perform repair after confirming authorization by customer.
  • Saving and tagging any and all parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by customer.
  • Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Notifying service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs can not be completed within the time promised.
  • Road-testing vehicles to spot check work performed.
  • Keeping abreast of Volkswagen technical bulletins and attend factory sponsored training classes.
  • Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards


Requirements

  • Qualified technician, ideally working with a Volkswagen Group brand, however not completely necessary.
  • Ability to clearly complete job card write ups with a thorough understanding of the requirements of factory standards for warranty write-ups.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required to service advisors or customers as required.
  • Previous experience on engine/transmission repairs/rebuild/replacement would be an advantage.
  • Full valid Drivers licence is required for this role.

Due to increased demand from our customers Frank Keane Volkswagen are looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor for an immediate start in our Dealership in Sandyford. Reporting to the Service Manager, this important and demanding role is critical to the smooth running of our Aftersales Department as we strive for a 5-Star Service for our customers along their journey. 

Job Summary

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the servicing and maintenance needs of our customers. You will act as a liaison between our customers and the service department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, understand their service needs and provide recommendations based on the manufacturer's guidelines and the vehicle's condition.
  • Service Recommendations: Communicate vehicle issues and service recommendations to customers, including required repairs, preventive maintenance, and suggested services.
  • Service Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and manage loan vehicles, if necessary, to accommodate customer needs and dealership capacity.
  • Service Estimates: Provide customers with accurate and transparent cost estimates for service and repairs, including parts, labour, and potential additional charges.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct vehicle inspections and document the condition of the customer's vehicle. Share findings with customers and prioritise necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Communication: Keep customers informed of the progress of their service or repair work, including any unexpected delays or additional repairs required.
  • Parts Ordering: Order necessary parts and materials to ensure timely completion of service or repair jobs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all service and repair work is performed to Volkswagen's quality and safety standards.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and explain invoices to customers, collecting payments, and handling any warranty claims or issues.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised service records, including customer information, vehicle details, service history, and repair orders.
  • Sales Opportunities: Identify potential upsell opportunities for service packages, extended warranties, and accessories.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor role is desirable.
  • CDK / Keyloop (Kerridge) experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software and service management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Junior Sales Handover Specialist, Sandyford

We are seeking a Handover Specialist to join our Sales Team in our Volkswagen Dealership in Sandyford. Reporting to the Sales Manager this is an exciting and challenging role at a time where Volkswagen is bringing many new and ground-breaking models to the Irish market. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Volkswagen cars and Commercial Vehicles and a willingness to learn from a very experienced and process-driven team of sales professionals. 


Key Objectives:

  • Responsible for checking vehicles over prior to handover including fuel/charge and that all accessories are fitted. In addition, all service manuals, book packs and handover forms are read.
  • Provide a vehicle handover experience that exceeds all customer expectations. This is to include demonstrating, in full, the technology within the vehicle and ensuring customers’ mobile devices are paired and radio stations are set to the customer preferences.
  • Compiling personalised automotive videos to enhance trust and transparency for the customer post-handover.
  • Follow-up calls to all customers post-handover ensuring their confirmation of an outstanding customer experience from the retailer was received.
  • Arranging, via appointment, a post-handover invitation back into the retailer to assist with additional technical customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all Volkswagen products, accessories and key features.
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives.
  • Maintain showrooms and outdoor displays to the highest standard.
  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone and face to face.

 Critical Skills:

  • Full clean Irish driving licence.
